Slow after update

Now when screensaver activates, if i press any key it takes about 4 seconds before desktop is shown again. Before update desktop was shown instantly.

This started to happen after i updated to 10.12.4.

The coders totally screwed up this update even with all the Beta tests.

Just curious, what screen saver are you using? Is it one of the "graphically intense" ones like Flurry or Arabesque?

I just tested and Message screensaver don't have this problem at all.

Glad to hear! I was experiencing a weird anomaly of sorts as well after I went to Sierra from El Capitan. Long story short, I was using the Flurry screen saver and when I changed it to the origami/slideshow ones where it just shows random photos, the problem went away.
