Hello,

I have an iPhone 4. Yesterday I updated to iOS 4.1. Now when I bring up the multitasking bar by pressing the home button twice and switch to another app there is a pause of a few seconds after pressing the app and the screen actually flipping to the other app.

For reference I have closed all other apps, restarted my phone and still receive the same delay. Much longer than on iOS 4.0. I tested on many apps all with same results. For example switching from Notes and a blank Safari screen, what I assume are two simple apps to switch to.

Has anyone else notice this longer delay?

I've got the same issue as you. Not only when switching apps from the multitasking bar but also when opening them from the home screen. I've been to an apple store and checked some iphone 4 there and they all have the same issue. I believe its an Apple ios4.1 problem which I expect will be solved with ios4.2
