If you don't know what it is you can google what each thing is. Download the new bootcamp drivers http://tinyurl.com/63krm2 throw them on a disk and install them in XP. Install all updates in Win XP if you haven't already done so (XP SP3) Let us know how it goes.
Try a couple things: Start>Run>msconfig>Startup Items Get rid of anything you don't need. If you don't know what it is you can google what each thing is.
