My mother has just bought an iMac (not new but in good conditions), and everything seems to works pretty good except the download (not P2P) speed.
I can surf the Internet very well (as my PC with Win7), the speed inside LAN is also very good but the dl simply doesn't want to go.
I read somewhere, remembering that I had some similar problems with autotuning under Win7, that a possible solution is to set the MTU around the value of 1400 instead of 1500. It seems to work but not completely, any hints?
