Slow Email Download

After the recent software update, it my email downloads ground to a halt - especially f there are attachments. I can still send emails (with attachments but slow). My server host is at a loss as all PC do not experience any problems and some clients with macs are fine, but some aren't.

All settings for the servers are fine - it is just downloading email into my mail app.

Any suggestions I can forward to my server host?😕
