Hi there
I have Samsung 860 QVO 2TB SSD + ICY box USB 3.1 enclosure witch I tested with other SSD's with my mac pro and it works fine
(Around 500MB/s read and 400Mb/s write)
and I have Sonnet PCIe USB 3.1 installed on my mac pro 5.1
unfortunately I have really low R/W speed with Samsung.
I don't know if there is a problem with my SSD or it is just compatibility issue with macOS and PCIe USB 3.1 chip

Any suggestion?!

Update:
I just format it with windows 10 and NTFS format and use it with Tuxera NTFS, now it shows around 250MB/s (R/W) speed but not close to 500mb/s which it has to be

update :
I just formatted the drive with exFAT by macOS with no luck!
but formatting the drive with windows 10 did the trick
I'm still eager to know the reason for this
