iPhone 16 Pro Slow Face ID validation

Anyone else come across slow face ID validation on the iPhone 16 pro?

Got myself a new phone the other day and migrated from my iPhone 13 Pro to a iPhone 16 pro.
Not too impressed so far and Face ID feels a bit slower than it did on my 13 pro and tbh, its really not that big a difference in speed between the old device. Not sure if its the animation vit the green tick box (dynamic island anim) that does it or if its actually slower.

I'm on 18.4.1 and have restarted the device a few times. I can live with the slight delay its just that I assumed the 16 pro would have been a bit faster than my old phone.

make sure there's not a smudge over the cameras. mine's pretty instantaeous

Shouldn't be much dirt since its new. But will give it a scrubb.

I had the slow to respond face id problem on my 16 pro once, a restart solved it and it's been fine since.
