A few months ago I bought a 32GB iPod Touch (3rd gen) and I have noticed that it is taking a very long time to sync, and when it is syncing it freezes iTunes for a minute or two and then iTunes responds for a few seconds before freezing again. This goes on for the whole of the 5-10 minute sync (it is about this long even when there is nothing new to put on or take off). This has never been the case before with any of my other iPods and it isn't the case for anyone else I know who has a Touch. The only thing I have been able to think of that could be causing the problem is the amount of apps I have on there (80-100) but that doesn't seem too excessive. I'm not sure what to do to try and solve this problem - delete loads of apps and lose their high-scores and settings, restore my iPod, uninstall iTunes and re-install it, wait for the next update to come out and hope it fixes the problem? As I have a very large iTunes library which has accumulated over many years I would really like to keep all my play counts and playlists etc. so I was wondering what I would have to do to 'get my library back' if I did uninstall and re-install iTunes. (I have a PC and lots of my music and videos aren't in the iTunes folder) Sorry if this has been asked/answered before but I have spent a long time searching the internet looking for an answer but haven't found one yet - but i may bee looking in the wrong places. Thanks to anyone who attempts to help!
