    Hello,

some days ago I made factory reset of my iPhone 6 64GB (iOS 9.3.1.). After clean install of iOS photos/videos automatically downloaded to my iPhone from iCloud but I have a problem with videos. If I want to open some video it loading very slow. I see ring and after 30-60 seconds video starts to play. Some days ago I was on one place where signal was weak so I can't play videos in my iPhone.
Have iCloud Photo Library turned on and have checked option "Optimize Photo Library".

If I choose "Download and Keep Originals" will it fix my problem?

    Thank you so much.

This is something apple said they were working on. They are building their own servers because of this very issue. They rely on other servers for iCloud and in turn it causes videos to process like this, I'm sure they are looking for more immediate playing

Nah downloading them helps for sure though but takes up more storage

When you use the option to "Optimize Photo Library", all the images and videos stored on your devices are of low resolution to save space and in respect to videos, only their thumbnail is stored. When you open the image or the video the next time, it'll contact the server and download the full resolution for you to view and then revert to the low resolution after some time.

If you decide to keep the originals, you'll have the full resolution of the photos and videos stored on your device and there would be no loading in the future. It'll still keep backing up the new photos and videos to your iCloud account though.

The "Optimize Photo Library" option is usually beneficial for the people who don't have enough space on their phones or who use the 16GB version of the iPhone.

Download is the only real way for the larger vids.
