Slow streaming on Apple TV

Hey everyone,

So right now I have my Lacie external hard drive connected to my airport extreme router via usb...the itunes library path is set to my external hard drive...I have a Macbook Pro 2.4C2D.

I setup the apple tv so that it could streams...but whenever I watch movies it takes at least a minute for it to start, then it will play for 30 seconds, then it has to re-buffer.

If anyone could help me out, id appreciate that a lot!

ahhh...I figured it out...I had a process not responding and it was taking up 99% of my cpu.....streaming to apple tv is way better now.
