Hi.

I have an 2008 alu macbook and a 27" i7 imac. When i transfer files between the two, using my belkin wireless N router (300 mbit/s) i can only transfer up to 1.2 MB/s. this seems reealy slow. i dont have any 802.11 G units connected.

Is this normal speed, or am i doing something wrong?

Best regards

Macchino

Click on the AiPort Menubar icon while holding down the Option/Alt key.

Look what it says under PHY Mode on both Macs.

If it is 802.11n on both Macs, maybe the signal is to weak.

On the imac it says 802.11N, on the macbook, however it just says this:
