Slower processor, more ram vs. faster processor, less ram

Hey guys. Turns out I do live near a Microcenter, so I just saved another $200! With that, I'm thinking about buying AppleCare, but I have a question: does my replacing the RAM and HDD void my AppleCare warranty?

No. It is probably best to delay the purchase of AppleCare until you hit the one year mark -- in case your unit is stolen or breaks in a way that is not Apple supported -- ex. liquid spill.
