is there a way to play SMAC on my mac mini?

There is an OS X patch for it, but if I recall it had some bugs in 256 color mode in 10.6, so you have to run it in a window. You may be better off getting the gog.com version and playing it through crossover.

Wow I loved playing SMAC. Who knew that anyone else still did??

While I have made peace with playing Civ 5 on my 2007 iMac, I'd love to occasionally get a SMAC fix now and again.
