I have installed smackbook but for some reason when i go into terminal and enter all the information it does noteven work. I do not know what else their is for me to do anyone else have an issue about this

You probably didn't do something correctly. Since your post is so vague, there's nothing anyone can do to help you.
I had it working fine when I had Leopard. But the moment I installed Snow Leopard it didn't want to work anymore. It could be incompatible with the newer version of Leopard.
