when loading apps such as itunes,safari they bounce then stop bouncing but then take like 20-40 seconds to appear

1.itunes bounces 5-10 times (takes 20 seconds to appear)

2. Safari 30 Bounces (takes 25 seconds to appear) (i have reset it to)

ive tried repairing permissions but fixed a few problem so or it said but did not fixs these.

anyway of fixing these its really annying

2.2GHZ Core2Duo 4GB RAM 120GB HDD

its only started happening few days ago...

its only started happening few days ago...

Download OnyX (a free maintenance utility) and clear all of your caches. You may have some corrupt cache files.

sounds like a memory problem to me. I'm new to mac, but if anyone has a suggested memory checking utility, it may help the op
