Small chip in MacBook Pro screen — should I be concerned?

I noticed a small chip/damage on my MacBook Pro screen and wanted to get some advice. I’m mainly wondering whether this is something I should be concerned about, whether it could get worse over time, and if there’s anything I can do to prevent further damage or mitigate it.

The screen is currently working normally, and the chip is not in the viewable area. But I’d like to know if I should have it inspected or repaired now, or if it’s reasonable to just keep an eye on it.

I unfortunately do not. It was purchased “used”.

Live with it. The repair cost is the same now as it would be if the display was shattered & not working, so no benefit to jumping the gun.

Here's a full on screenshot of the screen. The little red circle on the right is where the 'chip' is.

I wonder if it would be worth it to try and 'seal' the chip. Either way, I'm going to try and ignore it and consider it a war wound. 🙂
