I've had my iPod Touch for about three or so days now and I'm getting these small issues which are really annoying to be honest. I've wanted to know if these issues were common or no. BTW, I jailbroke my iPod.

    1) When I'm listening to music and am on AIM (through ApolloIM), its locked up twice. Both times I had been listening to music and had been receiving IMs from two different people. (and fast)

    2) Sometimes when I'm in ApolloIM (happens in a few others too) and I hit the home button twice to check out the song, the song title/album title/artist won't show up. I'll hit the pause button and then they pop up.

    3) It gets laggy, this also happens a lot when I'm on AIM and am listening to music. Its really annoying when it slows down in Apollo.

Do these things happen to you as well? The most annoying has to be the freezes, its only happened twice but I'm still worried. Are these problems common, and can they be fixed somehow? (For what its worth, when I jailbroke/downgraded I remember seeing a bunch of people talking about something called "OKToPrep", I didn't download this or anything. Please let me know if its important.)

to jailbreak and use 1.1.2 you have to have used OKToPrep.

Oh, well I'm using 1.1.1 right now and not 1.1.2 (although the iPhone apps are 1.1.2). Does this effect my problems at all? (the firmware being 1.1.1 with iPhone 1.1.2 apps)

seems the prom may be apollo (don't use it on my jb ipt 1.1.1) - also you should use the 1.1.1 iphone apps with 1.1.1

Apple did something with the coding in 1.1.2. Everything is quicker. Really. If you broke to 1.1.1, 1.1.2 is not that hard and all your setting will keep. It is worth it.

I have not had one bit of trouble with 1.1.2 and the jailbreak.

This thread is in the wrong forum also.

Ditto. The recurring app mention in the OP was Apollo - maybe that's where the problem lies, rather than with the Touch ... ? I don't use Apollo and I've never had a lock-up (I've had slow downs a few times while using Safari, but never a lockup)

Wait, so you guys are saying there's a way to jailbreak 1.1.2 and get all those apps from the installer still? Do tell...(I really only use the iPhone apps and one or two others...

Maybe the problem id ApolloIm. :/
