I’ve finally done it. I dropped and cracked my iPhone 11. My screen is cracked and I have what looks like a small bright spot. Is this something that can be fixed with a screen replacement? I’m trying to decide whether I go through insurance or replace it through Apple. It is more expensive to go through Apple, and I’m wondering if the small lcd spot will make the repair more expensive. I am also wary of asurion. Any insights would be helpful, thanks!

Aren't iPhone displays laminated to the glass? Meaning, the screen itself would be getting replaced regardless if you have the glass fixed.
