i've been developing sites for years using dreamweaver and other WYSIWYG type software.....its time now for me to learn how to do the CMS type websites for my clients. As a beginner i have chosen webyep to start (their forum isnt very active, hence my questions here).

I have setup an experimental site, for those interested: http://www.p-cure.co.il/dev/index.php

first hurdle: the rich dialog box doesnt work.....am i supposed to add an "add on" or am i missing something?

how does one do PHP locally on my mac, instead of me having to upload all the time to put in the text.....

If you want to edit and test your site locally without having to FTP or upload it somewhere, search for MAMP(Mac Apache MySQL PHP) which is a single package with everything you need to run a local web server to test your stuff.

I use Xampp on windows, which works with Macs too. http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp.html
