Small streaks of oil paint on iBook screen

My lovely girlfriend got a few streaks of oil paint on her iBook screen.

Is there anything we can use to safely remove it?

Oh snap. Hmm...Im not sure whether or not paint remover would be bad news for the Mac itself...

Good call. I dont think turpentine would be a good option...
