I used to use Napster. For the simple reason that I liked their program, their price and I used it back when it was free. When it became pay I decided, these artist's deserve my money. I wasn't into the whole iTunes scene yet but then I got an iPod Mini and had to.
Of course, I didn't want to waste all that money and songs and just rebuy the songs, but it wouldn't let me transfer them into iTunes.
Here's a small and quick tutorial on getting your songs back.
This is helpful if you get the errors of protected music.
You need to use NAPSTER's burning tools and burn everything onto a CD. Then you put that CD into your drive and upload it into iTunes. I know it worked for me but I don't think it will always work.
BTW: Apple and Napster were NO help at all in this. I emailed both asking if there was any way, and both said no. But I was determined to not lose about 100 songs and found a way. Tell me if it worked for you or not. I'd like feedback.
