hello out there. i've spent about five hours over two days trying to figure out why some of my iphone8 plus photos are full size (34MB from portrait mode), while all the other images are only 9MB. i'm gonna be really bummed if i lost 2/3 of my resolution. i've read plenty of posts that talk about 'exporting originals' or something like that, but i don't see that option in my iCloud window.
and another thing, this damned HEIC file format is keeping me from downloading a lot of images, too. do i have to email every single HEIC file to myself then convert?
