11.6 " Laptop isn't too small. People used netbooks way smaller than that in the 1990s 2000s and 2010s.
I remember in 2006 i used a 10.1" Baby Laptop (is what they called) Acer but the problem with the smaller laptops in the past is the poor heat dissipation smaller laptops heats more than bigger laptops, and as the phone grows in size the netbooks and baby laptops also dissapears
When i was typing, on my 10.1" Acer Laptop the screen is large enough for me too see the letters, everything is okay and readable, but now and in present they kept making the screen size bigger and bigger and of course going back to the smaller size might be a little difficult. All people do ages, so they have to increase the size of the screen as well as their presbyopia worsens.
But if Apple is going to make an 11.6" MacBook i would definitely buy it, because 13" and 15" is just too big especially if your taking it outside like in the Mall or Work, or Public Areas it is so ankward to bring a device such big, and some people even look at your screen right? so smaller is gonna be much better for some privacy.
