That's comparing the 6+ on iOS8 to the 6S+ on iOS9, and yet iOS9 is supposed to give ALL phones an extra hour of battery life....which leads me to believe that a 6+ running iOS9 will have a longer battery life?
I thought about that as well, but I really doubt it. It might be a tiny bit better, but we'll have to wait and see.

So all Apple products are amazing and anyone who has any critcism whatsoever should shut up or buy an Android?
Nope, but there's a difference between that and someone who CREATES (never mind all of the negative comments), but CREATES 20+ negative Apple threads so far this year alone. I really think you'd be happier elsewhere. You sound miserable.

It's pretty sad that you went into my profile and started totting up my 'negative threads', most of which are queries rather than Apple-bashing. Unlike some I feel no need to come here with the sole intention of defending Apple's honour, it is usually because of a problem or to debate things.

apple could also be quoting the new 6S battery life with low powermode turned on at 20 percent when the popup comes. so yes the battery life could be much much worse.

expect the same or slightly worse. But is highly unlikely its better

It would seem that the 3D engine is indeed taking up valuable battery space.
I'll reserve judgement until I've used it but 3D Touch sounds like a gimmick to me and I'd rather have a bigger battery.

You can have exactly what you want. Buy a morphie case and you'll instantly have a thicker, heavier iPhone with really long battery life. Problem solved.

As for me, I'll keep the smaller form factor and lighter weight and simply plug in the lightening cable at night when I go to sleep. It's all about choices.

Maybe he wants the iPhone to be as thin has card stock, have a laser keyboard, and holographic display like the iPhone 5 did:

I was hoping for even better battery life with the 6S+.
Apple's a world class highly experienced consumer electronics company with highly skilled design and engineering teams. The could easily provide us with better battery life.

The smaller battery of the iPhone 6S proves to me what I began thinking a few years ago. Apple's comfortable with current battery life and has no intention of impressing us with longer battery life.
