Only pink left, even at that low price I can't do pink:D

I looked at this Samsung drive also - but something about it doesnt appeal to me (doesnt look classy enough to me i guess) - even though a lot of people may laugh at this comment, but hey - if its only for function, i would have gone with the numerous 1TB 2.5 drives.

I liked the Toshiba 1.8 Drive for its form and looks (specially in Silver) and am continuing to search for it.

I bought an Aegis (Apricorn is the manufacturer), 240 GB 1.8" HDD with integrated USB cord that folds around and snaps into itself. This thing is fantastic, and I carry it in my laptop bag along with my 11.6" MBA and some of those little micro-SD readers that were shown here for good measure.

Take a look at it here:

Think I picked mine up on Amazon.com if I recall correctly :D

I bottled it the price was too good...So my fantastic looking silver MBA is now compromised with a puffy looking pink usb drive.....but it was cheap:D....Is that a good enough reason, or will I be handing this over too the wife once a better color comes along..

I looks like Amazon has a bit of a disconnect regarding pricing right now. They are asking $191.99 for the 240GB that Apricorn is selling direct for $149.

I've decided to return the Rikiki GO. It's just too fat. And a little heavy.

Good man. If you want to remain cheap, head on down to Poundland and grab one of these semi-hard black camera cases

Fits the drive like a glove and has space for both the cables it comes with. Plus it hides your shame. :D I doubt that there will any further stocks of these; you have to be quick to grab what you can get from that website.

This is my Toshiba 250gb 1.8" drive.

It cost me £90 from Amazon.

I use it with my Mac Mini's and my work laptop.

It measures 90mm by 58mm by 10mm.

It is thing of beauty as well as ver small. Comes with a protective case - as the casing is black chrome...

Thanks for the Headsup DukeOfHunslet - I ordered one (1.8 250GB) via Amazon UK Marketplace for GBP 79.xx :D

Well I was actually planning to get this:

It's their newest drive, but is 2.5" though. Amazon currently has a February 10th release.

They're also marketing this new drive specifically for the new Macbook Air.

I was in an Apple Store the other day, and they had one of these plugged into one of the 13" MBAs. I was amazed at how small it was. It was just about as thick as the MBA and complimented it perfectly.

Awesome :)

There should be an abundance of these drives available at this price. $100 for 320Gb is a bit expensive.

Price and GB/$ ratio isn't the only thing we're talking about here. The OP asked for the "smallest" external hard drive, so we should factor style and design as well into the package.

There may be an abundance of these types of drives, but how many are this thin?

Good point, and something I should consider. Maybe I'll pick one up, but I'm still on the fence.
