I have the same one, it's decent.

Thanks for the suggestion.

I heard that bluetooth speakers aren't as smooth as wired speakers and that there is a noticeable lag in the audio (noticeable when watching videos / movies). Do you think this is true?

Haven't used it myself but I've heard good things about 12 South's BassJump. Comes with software which changes the built in speakers to tweeters and their mini sub deals with all the lows and mids

I use Altec Lansing iM227 Orbit MP3 speakers. These speakers produce very good sound.

Since this is going to be mostly for home usage, and since I already have a good speaker set up at home, I decided to go with this product instead:
