I just got my smart battery case, and from the review it looks to be ~10wh in capacity. My IPhone XS Max has a battery of ~12wh, but I’m only getting about 50% charge out of the case. Meaning that the case only has a ~60% efficiency. And I notice it’s pretty consistent that for ever 1% charged into XS max, the case drops 2% itself.

How much charge are you getting out of the XS max case? Share your results

My battery case gets me the entire day. Both were fully charged this morning and currently battery case is 77% and my phone is still 100%. The way these smart battery case works is that if both are charged, it will use the battery from the smart battery case first till it reaches 0% then once that is depleted it will use the phone. And this is on my XS Max.

My case is lasting me almost all day. My phone is almost at 100 percent or close to it at the end of a day. Seems to be a high transfer rate that than what you are experiencing. Without it my phone would likely be about 10 percent by the end of a regular day. Are you using it at the same time it is charging the phone?

Do you discharge the phone and then put the case on? Bc I am not fully getting the 1 to 2 percent ratio in the case of this battery case. My phone stays fully charged until the battery on the case is dead.

I have an XS Max, and the smart battery case gets me through a day of moderate to heavy use.

However, it is at a much lower percentage at the end of the day than the XS Max would be.

My biggest problem with the smart battery case is that it does not charge very well when it's on a cheap upright Qi charger. Something (gravity) keeps it from getting solid contact with the charging coils and it'll * dong! * and * dong! * all night long if I leave it on the upright Qi charger.

It charges fine on horizontal Qi chargers or using the Lightning port.
