Hi All,

I just got the iPhone XS Smart Battery case, which i think is great.

However, i am used to having my iPhone magnetically car mounted.

this requires me to stick a metal disc on the back side of the phone.

Does anyone know / or have tried to stick this on the back of the Smart Battery case ?

Does the 3M sticker ruin the case, and cause it to rip out the silicone when you remove it?

thank you!

It doesn’t ruin the case.

It does look ugly as hell with a magnet on show though

Thanks for the reply mate.

I’m more concerned about what Happens when you pull it off. Does the glue pull out some of the silicone case as well ? (If you have ever tried pulling it out)

I left the tape on the slim metal ring that I use and stuck in between my phone and case. I wasn't about to put some 3M sticky stuff on the phone itself. Works fine and has no issues charging or staying in place on the magnetic mount/charger in my car

Nah, when I had one, I just pulled the magnet off and then used some warm water to remove then leftover residue on the case
