Smart Cover - Scratching iPad?

Has anyone with an iPad 2 and Smart Cover has the Smart Cover scratch the left side of the iPad where it connects via the magnets?

I haven't seen anyone mention this in their reviews and have been curious since I saw the Smart Covers announced. Thanks!

Someone posted over the weekend that the hinge rubs off onto the iPad but you can wipe it off the ipad
