I'm looking for an iPad Air Smart Cover (I already use a sleeve, so not a case) with the soft hinge like on the genuine Apple one. The selection of colours Apple put out isn't great so if anyone has come across something similar, post 'em here.

You might have a hard time. I think the Smart Cover is patented, so no reputable company is going to copy it.
You might be able to find some foreign companies that don't care about IP rights though. I haven't seen any. I've been trying to find a smart cover with the origami fold, and haven't seen anything.
