Do they work in conjunction with each other? Called apple twice and got 2 different answers.

Ugh.

Thanks in advance!

I think that's the ideal setup if you want a keyboard too. Beats the Logitech at slimness, build quality and keyboard typing experience. The only thing missing is backlit keys and of course the price is insane.

I completely agree. I took back the logitech today and was lucky to find the apple keyboard and pencil. I'm a good enough typer that I don't need the backlight, but it is nice. the footprint is much smaller and I'm happy with the compromise. I only wish they had developed a spot to hold the pencil.

Thank you all, it is truly mind blowing how uneducated the Apple phone folks are in relation to their products. One lady said the keyboard cover covers both the front and back of the device at the same time. What?

I just returned the Logitech keyboard for a silicon back case and a smart cover. I'll be returning the smart cover once my Apple keyboard arrives. As far as slimness & weight goes, I love this setup. The Logitech keyboard is definitely better than the Apple Keyboard, but it's way to heavy and bulky and trying to insert and remove the ipad is a real pain in the ass.

Sorry, just realized I meant Smart Case in the title. So the combo would be Smart Keyboard+Smart Case for back.

Smart Keyboard+Smart Case user here, works great. I am pretty pleased with the smart keyboard overall and it is nice to be able to disconnect it quickly when I want to use the iPad as a tablet

Like others said, it works. But I'm returning mine. It just adds too much bulk to the device for me. So I'm just going to risk the iPad Pro's back going naked. I'm just using the keyboard cover, and then when I'm using the device around for device consumption--I just detach from the cover.

Went from the Logitech to this Keyboard+Case... Couldn't be happier with the setup.
