Okay, so now that 5.1 actually somewhat handles smart playlists the way it should, I have a two-fer question about how they are handled.

Do live-updated playlists only live update from the iTunes library or is it global? What I mean is...let's say I create a smart playlist on my MacBook of all songs added within the last 24 hours. In 25 hours, are those songs going to remove themselves from the playlists on my iOS devices?

Secondary question. If I have a library of 7000 songs, and I create a smart playlist of say...400 random songs that have Plays=<1....in an effort to force myself to listen to every song I have at least once, yet not attempt to put my entire library on my phone. If I have that playlist set to live-update, is my phone going to sporadically change the tracks that I have in that playlist?

I've never understood the live-updated smart playlist from an iOS side of things. Anyone care to enlighten me (or call me retarded...either way, fun for everyone). Thanks.
