Smart Zoom not working

I have Smart Zoom turned on (double-tap trackpad with 2 fingers) but it's not working.

Now I'm assuming that if I'm using Firefox and I want to zoom in on the webpage I'm viewing then I simply double-tap with 2 fingers??

The Smart Zoom animation from the System Prefs / Trackpad show it working on a webpage so I'm at a loss as to why it's not working for me. 😕

Any ideas folks?

PS. Smart Zoom works for me on photos in iPhoto.

In my experience it doesn't work on all pages or in all browsers. I tend to use pinch anyway, but It's working fine in Safari. Every now and then I come across a page where it won't though.

You're right.
It does work in Safari.
I should have tested it out in Safari first.
Oh well, just a pity I only use Firefox.
