iPad SmartCase defect, where to return?

    I bought the ipad 4 smart case from staples in April when I first got my ipad. The case near the lightning cable plug is splitting apart. Where do I go for a new one to replace it under warranty, staples or apple? Thanks for your help!

    Call the Staples store to ask. Since you bought it from there, that's where your warranty would be held.

    Apple Store. Warranties are provided by the manufacturer, not the retailer. Retailers provide return policies, not warranties.

    Bring it to Apple.
