Hi,

Has anyone tried rubbing down the sharp edges of the iPad smartcase yet? It doesn't feel nice at all to hold the iPad in its case...Besides, the edges seem to be aesthetic anyway (not actually necessary).

Ehhh I'd recommend you just return it man....File the edge down and you'll risk beaking the seal.

If it weren't for this I would actually like my Smart case. Because of the weight of the iPad the edges become ridiculously sharp as you hold the iPad for an extended period of time.

umm.. since you tried it out. i got some questions. i have the new ipad and i'm looking forward for this case, so is it real that the ipad is loose in the case? like it can move a little bit around and the back cutting for the speaker volume and camera become unaligned ? what about the ipad standing in portrait mode, does the ipad balance it self or should i spend time balancing it till i get lucky? and one last question, most of the time i use my ipad for reading and my hands sweat easily, does the case cause any problem with sweat? like would the case become damaged after a month of use ? and does the screen cover stick magnetically to the back of the ipad when folded to read ? haha sorry for the allot amount of questions but i'm just curious and i don't wanna make the purchase and then feel guilty for buying it! thank you so much!

My case isn't loose, if after removing the case a couple times. But actually I'm now looking for another solution because the case does take away a lot from the iPad's sexiness

I know what you mean about the edges of the Smartcase. It was one of the reasons I returned mine.

I now use a leather Smartcover and an Incase magnetic snap case for the back. It's a very practical combination. I prefer the feel to the slippery aluminum back, and you end up with extra magnets that help hold front cover in place a few different ways.
