I have an iMac Mid 2011 with a 3rd party SSD Samsung Evo 840 and 1 OCZ Vertex 4 in an Optibay.

After doing a clean install of 10.10.3 I installed Trim Enabler - enabled it.
Then I installed SSD Fan control.
When I run the SSD Fan Control (also visible in System Report and Trim Enabler) the SSD displays no SMART information (SMART NA or Disabled).

I mention that it happened all of a sudden.

I was doing an SMC reset and an NVRAM reset.

Tried everything.... I have no idea what can I do next.

I restarted in Recovery Mode and it seems that disk utility is able to verify SMART status under recovery mode.
But only under recovery mode. otherwise it doesn't work.

Did anyone encounter similar problems?

Any help is appreciated.

Forgot to mention that in recovery mode Disk Utility Shows Both SMART Status: Verified.

After installing Yosemite - I get the Not Verified on both drives.

OK. Solved. Looks like Clean My Mac 3 doesn't release SMART Info.

Need to disable Clean My Mac from menu bar and everything works.
