I have a macbook pro 13" late 2011, with Mountain Lion 10.8.2.
open the AppStore and find an update:
So i applied, system log out and a bar shows, when bar is full then the macbook reboots fine. But every time i open the Store, the update is listed as if it had no effect.
I tried repair disk/ permissions and reset PRAM before run the update, but nothing, every time i click on appstore to upadate, the machine reboots and the update doesn't disappear from the AppStore.
OK, is fixed:
download the update from apple site.
then when packages is installing open log dialog (cmd + L) then i saw and error about mounting the Efi Partition, so i check disk utilitie and umount /dev/disk0s1, run the update and voilá
