SMC question...help? =[

Hi, i installed SMC a while back, and it doesnt seem to work for me that well.

I made a new profile for SMC and put 3000RPM minimum speed on both fans...i can hear them running faster for a few seconds, but then they go back to their normal speed.

any help? maybe im not even asking in the right section since this should be hardware only...

Which Mac are you talking about and why are you wanting to force the fans to run at 3,000RPM? 🙂

Macbook Pro 2.2GHz.
I only used 3,000RPM to try and hear a difference, I wasnt intending to leave them that high. Any help? 🙁
