Ok, so i have the application installed and reved up the fans to 2800rpm constantly. That helps my Al MacBook keep cooler than usual and still keep a very but very quite machine.

So my question is the following: Will rev'ing up the Al MacBook's from the defaults 2000 rpm to 2800 rpm fan speed decrease life expectancy of the fans? Will the fan life stay the same? Any second effects if I decide to go higher than 3000 rpm (Besides higher noise and cooler temps)?

Thanks.

The fans' life will decrease but its not like its gonna happen anytime soon. These fans are designed to last at least a decade at full rpm.
