I run a folding client on my MBP, and my fan(s) run high speed, like i want it, BUT, i open smcFanControl and it reports that my right side fan is only at 235rpm, where as my left side fan is at 6200 RPM... I want my right maxed out too... and the options in the fan control prog says i have maxed out the fan, but is only reporting 235rpm... same with the other "Fan Control" program that installs in the Systems Preferences pane.

Any ideas or recommendations to max out this MacBook Pro's fans? is there a command line i can use? or do i have to use these non working third party apps!

    Fixed,
Performed SMC reset of the computer... works like a charm... Right side fan must have been hung up in the logic controller.
