I just tried to put a sad face inside brackets. I typed (, then I inserted a 🙁 from the toolbar, then typed the closing ). In other words, I entered ( 🙁 ) without spaces.
This looks fine in the editor, but when I actually posted it appeared as 🙂(). I understand why it happened; the automatic parsing is getting precedence over the manually-inserted icons. This seems like it's the wrong way around.
Obviously not major, but it'd be nice to get it fixed 🙂
