I now have both of the above phones as I was struggling with eye strain on the Max. If you’re interested, the Pro seems better.

I’m convinced though that the Pro seems a lot smoother than the Max. Facebook, Reddit and at times Safari just seem much smoother. Am I seeing things or is it because the Max has a bigger display to update?

Stopping or starting scrolling is when it seems most obvious.

I’ve had a good look around and I can’t see any other comments along these lines.

Everyone's eyes are unique, of course, but I don't have any issues with my iPhone 13 Pro Max 256GB and eye strain. My eyesight is not good, but I still have none of the issues others seem to be having.

Yep. Like you say we are all different. I love the Pro Max as it feels so special but at the moment I’m leaning toward keeping the Pro. Will see how I get in over the next day or so and will then give the Max another go before the return window closes.
