SMS multiple recipients at once?

Is this possible? I can't find a way to add more than one person to an SMS... Besides creating a group, but that group would changed with every conversation. Am I missing something easy?

It's not currently possible and is a feature most everyone hopes will be added in a soon-to-come update.
