'SMS on iPod Touch" thread

I was just wondering how SMS on ipod touch is going on. Lets keep this thread for all updates.

You can't do SMS on iPod Touch. The hardware isn't connected to a cell tower, so it won't work.

Shanesan, you can do it over wifi.

People use http://sms.dynadel.com but it appears that it wont work here in the UK.

Well, yes, I know its fully possible to send SMS messages over the interwebs, but I was assuming that the OP wanted something to send AND recieve, which to my knowledge is not possible.
