I am having a difficult time finding a solution to my issue: I have 2 separate SIM cards, one is AT&T and the other is T-Mobile. When I travel overseas, I put the T-Mobile SIM card in, as I get unlimited data and texts. I forward my AT&T number to my T-Mobile number, but I am unable to forward my texts. I was told I could forward my texts by upgrading to Yosemite, but all that has is allow me to forward the CURRENT SIM card phone I am using to my computer, which is great, but I STILL am unable to to forward my AT&T texts. It seems that once I remove the SIM card, it takes my AT&T number off the system.

So my question is this: Is there any way, any App, that allows me to forward my texts from one number to another?

I don't believe... SMS forwarding uses the current SIM in the phone, and then sends it via wifi/cellular data to your other devices (through Apple)

I know- it is so frustrating- I can forward phone calls, but not texts. The only real option I have is to put my AT&T SIM card in another working phone and then forward the calls. But I cannot do that either because my SIM card is connected to the phone. The only REAL option I have is to get another totally separate phone, but that defeats my purpose of having everything on the same phone. Oh technology.

Yeah, unfortunately while the carriers have provided a way to forward calls (and for years and years now), they don't have that for messages. Some have recently started doing some things along those lines, but I'm not quite sure which ones or what the specifics of that would be (perhaps Sprint with their integration with Google Voice or something along those lines).
