Not built-in, you would have to find some third-party software. Honestly though, having used Windows 7, that was one of the features which really pissed me off. I wish I knew how to turn it off (or at least I will once I have to use W7 more, fortunately don't have to right now).

Really? I am the opposite. I like it because I do a lot of configs comparison on text file.
