Snapchat Becomes Latest Popular App to Introduce iOS 16 Lock Screen Widget

All the apps I use support the normal widget screen …Almost nobody supports the left screen widgets.
Lucky for you you don’t need to use any of it, only the app draw is obligatory I think.
I still don't see the new facebook widgets or the Snapchat widgets. Am I missing something? I have run updates to the apps.
It's been very hit-and-miss for me. I sometimes have to dismiss the widget selector multiple times for apps to show up.
How is SnapChat, any less stupid than TikTok, Twitter, Facebook......etc...etc. Social media is destroying our world faster than any climate change. It is all being manipulated by multiple interests, for money or political power. Free speech does not exist on these platforms as the moderation is completely biased and controlled again for money or political power.
If I had to rank the worst to least worst, SnapChat would be well below #1-Twitter, #2 Anything owned by Facebook.
I only use snap for friends to friends snaps and some chatting. I don't visit stories/reels or whatever else they're calling it. So to me, it's not the same as TT. TT is just a cancer. People doing/posting stupid things for all the world to see. All vying to be the next 15 minute famous person.
I was on college back when it first started. Loved it then, and I have continued using it. I refuse to use the same features on Instagram (disappearing messages and Stories), because of FaceBook's "buy it or copy it" strategy.Make me feel old without saying "you're old"
I personally view SnapChat, WhatsApp, Messenger etc. as communication platforms, at least in their original format (as opposed to Social Media like Facebook). Nowadays they are pushing for and incorporating more "social" aspects in them, though. I do quite enjoy Snapchat, and it is my primary way of communicating with many of my friends because of it's picture-based messaging style.
Instagram has absolutely gone down the pan. Every 4 posts, 2 will be recommended, 1 will be an advert and 1 will be a friends photo. They've completely screwed and don't care about the user experience.
