Because of a good earnings call, the stock went up 40% the day the horrible redesign was released. Looks like the big investors are really out of touch as they were excited about the earnings but didn't see what was about to happen.

Now here’s the thought, when Snap goes under.... can anyone sue him for their money back?
I would hope not. He had the right. They just shouldn't have invested.

And just when I’d gotten used to the new interface, how infuriating!! I’m gonna go make a petition to ask them to change it back!... just kidding, this app is a mystery to me either way. :D
I just don't update it ever. Same with Facebook Messenger, which I'm so glad I never updated since it was perfect when I first downloaded it and now has ads and stories.

I have a feeling that Snapchat didn’t change this for the users, but for the advertisers. When the stories were on the right side, I would sometimes scroll down and click on the “news” (I’m assuming that’s a major source of their income). Ever since they pushed out the update where they put everything on the left side, I never swiped right and looked at the news. I would imagine that’s the same case for a lot of people, and Snapchat is losing a lot of revenue due to this.
I think the same. Just covering it up

Oh come on!! I thought this will bring slow death to snap chat!! Is there a way, Instagram can die too? Two ridiculous apps that will bring down the next generation!

This is the truth. originally when Friends stories were mixed in the same page on the right with it made my click on "news" i was interested in (IGN, Mashable even cosmo if the headline was sex heavy enough)

snapchat is failing. i would love to see them fail and go bankrupt. they are so ****** with all the recent crap they started to do.

they have changed their principle so many times after they got a new executive that only knows how to use ads and stupid **** like an old man in the 90s

The changes WERE awful. They took the user extra time, attention and effort to interact with friends and find the stories. I remember updating and thinking how awful it was, just 100% counter-intuitive to anything except earning money. Then Snap responded by saying that the new changes would take time to get used to, that all change is met this way.

Look who ate their hat.

There was nothing wrong with the change in my opinion. Snapchats old interface wasn't particularly easy to figure out either... people need to get over it. They're just mad whenever change happens.

the only bad change was the mix of ads and friends, but i just hated that the auto feed stopped. if i didn't have to click past the ads i could have done with the new change. and they have yet to bring that back, but i rarely use the app for friends anymore. its just an easy app to record things and keep them without using up any memory. when the quality of vids and pic is so bad, 6 seconds like vine is plenty enough.
