totally cool

A regional cold snap spread to Egypt on Friday, with some Cairo suburbs seeing snowfall for the first time in 122 years, a weather official said.

The Middle East has been hit by a fierce winter storm, with temperatures in Egypt plummeting over the past two days as torrential rain also lashed parts of the country.

A statement released by Egypt’s Meteorological Center said that this is the first time in 122 years that Cairo has witnessed such weather.

“It is the first time in very many years” that it has snowed in the suburbs of Cairo, said Ali Abdelazim, an official at the meteorological center.

“The whole garden was white,” Karim Kheirat told AFP by telephone from the new town of Medinati northeast of the capital.

“It's the first time in my life that I have seen it like this.”

Other suburbs of the capital also saw light snow showers, residents said.

In the Sinai Peninsula, the storm deposited a blanket of snow several centimeters (inches) thick in the mountainous area around Saint Catherine's monastery for the first time in decades.

The same thing happened in Istanbul this week; a snow storm, plus blizzard, plus thunder & lightning. I'm not sure Istanbul had experienced anything like it in an age, and, for my part, I certainly never expected to land in the middle of a snow storm when I arrived in Istanbul.

On my departure, the following day (yesterday) there was a queue on the international airport run way - like a traffic jam of airplanes in a weird sort of gridlock - because of the need to deice the wings of the aircraft before they flew, which meant a two hour wait as the planes crept along the runway awaiting their turn at the deicing station. Extraordinary.

Pity the Coptic Egyptians don't celebrate Christmas at this time of year. They would have a white Christmas.

Geo-Engineering

Today, so-called "Extreme Weather" is a result of Geo-Engineering. This means human manipulation of the ionosphere to create the resultant effects. It is also known as climate manipulation, climate control, weather manipulation, etc. Scientists have been working in this field in at least the last 70 years with a view to using the technology as a weapon of war and now it is being used to terrorise and harm the general public. This is a fact.

In Syria and Saudi Arabia also.
As someone living in Lebanon (next to Syria) the storm finished a week ago and the temperatures are currently slightly above average but i found it nice to feel a change.

The fact that you correctly assume that many will need have the geography explained makes me kind of sad.

Wow, no offense, but you've never heard of Lebanon and have no idea what Syria is? Syria's only been in the middle of a civil war and all over the news for the past couple years.
