Hi, I have seen only a couple potential solutions, none of which seemed to work for me, as to how to solve the problem of turning off the quarantine messages every time one tries to open a file downloaded from the internet. This was never a problem for me until 10.6, so I'm looking for a solution specific to Snow Leopard. Those messages are really damn annoying, and I would love nothing more than to get rid of them. Thanks in advance.

Did you check "Open Safe Files After Downloading" in Safari?

Sorry, man, but I thought I had seen your solution and tried it, and it didn't work, for some reason.

The question is, how can the problem be dealt with in Firefox, which is the browser I usually use.
